Pelican Paddleboat Express!

I'm just now getting to make this post about our excursion to a local park with water access this past weekend.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME!

Sorry, was so excited I got ahead of myself . . .

My husband and I decided to head off to a water spot this past Sunday and since my middle son, Adam, had the day off, he came with us.

We're thinking of upgrading our paddleboat, so we checked what the local park had available and rented a boat there.

We spent about 4 hours paddling around, just being lazy, drinking our diet cokes and swapping jokes. Got a little bit of windburn (we used sunscreen, so no sunburn) and got a great workout at the same time.

Talk about a relaxing day. The paddleboat we rented was nice, but somehow we want just a little bit more room available (with Adam along, it wasn't that it was tight, but there wasn't much room left over for the cooler) for the extras on our new paddleboat.

Hopefully, within the next couple of weekends, we'll go to another park and check out more paddleboat models.

Hey, it's a great excuse to get out on the water more often, right?

When was the last time you got into YOUR paddleboat and just relaxed the day away?
Enjoy!

My Family Has Paddleboated in Two States - Maine and Florida!

Yep, since we still have family in Maine and we live in Florida, those are the two states we have always had immediate access to some sort of paddleboat, whether it is a pedal boat or a canoe.

I've included some pics of the family in our boats having a grand old time, just paddling and pedaling away easily in no hurry to get anywhere.

Talk about the ultimate relaxer!

Pelican Paddleboat - The Ultimate Relaxer!

Wow! Have you EVER paddled with your best friend or spouse on a pond or lake in a paddleboat?

If you haven't, you need to place it on your list of "Things To Do!"

Really, the feeling of peace and quiet that just surrounds you as you pedal away from civilization, as you round a bend and experience a different world than you are used to, the calm of the water, no traffic, no stoplights, no blaring horns or bad mufflers. . .

Sounds nice, doesn't it?

Have access to a pond, canal, river, or lake close by? All you need is a little bit of flat water available and you are good to go for a quiet afternoon of fun and relaxation. Maybe a picnic on the water or waterside or time spent alone with the spouse or kids?

Check this link out and see if maybe this could be YOU on the next weekend . . .
